How to Use Google Bard, the Latest AI Chatbot Service
Google Bard is a new chatbot tool launched after all the hype about generative AI like ChatGPT. Designed to simulate human conversation, Bard uses a combination of natural language processing and machine learning to provide realistic and helpful answers to your questions.
In theory, Bard could one day be integrated into websites, messaging platforms, desktop and mobile apps, and a range of digital systems. For now, Google is opening a waiting list for Bard, giving us a first look at Google's approach to AI-generated text.
What is Google Bard?
Google Bard is Google's answer to ChatGPT. It's an AI chatbot with many of the same features but aims to extend Google's search tools (similar to how Bing Chat now uses GPT-4) and provide support and automated interaction for businesses.
It has been in development for several years and uses LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) technology. It is based on Google's Transformer neural network architecture, which has also served as the basis for other AI generation tools such as ChatGPT's GPT-3.Model in 5 languages.
This isn't Google's first work on artificial intelligence, although the company seems to have been beaten by ChatGPT and OpenAI.
When will Google Bard be available?
Google Bard is now on the waiting list, but it's hard to say how long it will be before everyone can try it. There is no fixed timeline for wider implementation.
However, in his introductory speech on Google Bard, Google SEO Sundar Pichai said that we will soon see how Google Bard is being used to improve Google searches, so we may see Bard more readily available in the coming weeks.
